Acupuncturist Profile

A former Nurse Cristina Palici qualified as an acupuncturist from the College of Integrated Chinese Medicine in Reading, having trained in both 5 Element and Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM).

Following her natural inclination and initial work in health care, she developed a deep interest in practices which consider the mind, body and emotional dimensions of an individual. Experience of practicing yoga enhanced this and Cristina was eventually attracted to acupuncture because of its robust methodology, ancient origins and philosophy, and potential for diagnosis and treatment from a holistic perspective.  

Cristina has a degree in Biology. Her doctoral research enhanced her range of skills, especially those of observation and analysis, further developing her understanding of biological processes. This combination helps Cristina to integrate both Conventional and Eastern views/principles of medicine and deepen her understanding of body functions and the processes leading to imbalance and disease.

Christina covers a wide area from Southampton to Winchester and now at The Beaulieu Natural Health and Nutrition Clinic in The New Forest serving Lymington and Brockenhurst as well as Waterside communities.

Cristina's usual days in Beaulieu are Thursdays and Fridays with occasional Saturdays
